and recovery.

Our customers share the results of applying the healing root.

Plant description

The hellebore is a fairly small genus of the buttercup family, which has about 10–20 species. This low perennial plant (its height rarely exceeds 50 cm) has a beautiful shape of a bush and dense leaves of dark green color. The hellebore flower has a diameter of 4 - 6 cm.

The plant got its name due to the fact that it is not afraid of frosts and snow (thus, the time of flowering of the hellebore coincides with the light spring frosts).

An important feature of the hellebore is their need for forest soil, which is a ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and beneficial microorganisms.

Collection and storage

For the purpose of treatment, the underground part of the hellebore is used, namely the roots and rhizomes, the harvesting of which begins in early autumn (immediately after shedding the seeds).

The excavated roots of hellebore are cleaned from damaged or rotted raw materials, while the above-ground part of the plant is to be removed (leaves and flowers are cut off with a knife). The roots are thoroughly washed in cold water, after which the culling is carried out again, during which thick and large roots are cut into strips 0.5 cm thick, which ensures uniform drying of the raw material.

The roots are dried under a canopy (it is important that the place where the raw materials are dried is well ventilated). In addition, it is possible to dry the raw materials in special ovens or dryers, the temperature in which should not exceed 40 degrees (otherwise the glycosides contained in the raw materials will be destroyed).

Properly dried, the raw material is distinguished by a brownish outer color and light cream on a break. The root of the hellebore has an unpleasant smell and bitter taste. Dried raw materials are saved in tightly closed glass containers or in bags of natural material. Shelf life is three years.

Hellebore varieties

How to drink drugs hellebore?

The course of treatment with drugs of hellebore is designed for one year, while at the time of treatment a gradual increase in the dosage and then its decrease is shown. After half a year of administration, a one month break should be taken, after which the hellebore begins to be taken again from the minimum dose, which subsequently rises.

A six-month course of treatment is possible, which is prophylactic and immunomodulatory in nature — the hellebore, effectively cleansing the intestines, normalizes its functioning, adjusting the work of the whole organism as a whole.

Important! The dosage of hellebore preparations, as well as the dosage regimen, is prescribed exclusively by the physician after conducting a medical examination and taking anamnesis.

A small dose (about 50 - 100 mg per day) is indicated for people who have recently had a serious illness (it can be a stroke or a heart attack), as well as patients at the initial stage of hypertension.

When systematically taking the hellebore in a dose not exceeding 150 mg per day, in two or three months sand and stones will come out.

Safe is the daily dose, ranging from 100 to 200 mg. The indicated dose is taken once a day - in the morning one hour before meals. Accurately dosed powder of hellebore is poured onto the tongue and washed down with water.

The scheme of the annual course of treatment hellebore
The initial dose is 50 mg (or one scoop) of hellebore powder. Then, every 10 days, the dose is increased by 50 mg until it reaches 200 mg per day (or 6 scoops). In this dosage, the drug is taken within six months.

Important! In intestinal disorders, the dose should be reduced to one to two measuring spoons (this dosage is observed until the chair normalizes).

After six months, a one-month break is taken, after which the administration of hellebore begins again with the minimum daily dose, that is, from 50 mg (the dose gradually increases to 200 mg per day).

Children from 7 to 14 years old must reduce the dosage by 2.5 times!

Important! Deviation from the above dosages is strictly prohibited, as it can lead to poisoning.

Methods of using hellebore

It is mainly used as compresses or washes. Internal reception is possible when combined with infusions or decoctions of herbs.

8 g of dry roots of hellebore brew a glass of boiling water. The infusion is wrapped and infused for 2 hours, and then filtered. Sore spots are treated with this infusion twice a day.

It is used mainly as a means to stimulate hair growth.

50 g of dry rhizomes of hellebore should be boiled in a glass of wine vinegar (the volume of liquid should evaporate by half), then strain and add to the mixture the strained extract of Althea root (25 g of raw material is poured 200 ml of cold water and infused for an hour). It is recommended to rub the bald patch and places of intensive hair loss twice a day with the mixture obtained.

Oil of hellebore

Indications for use:

  • lipid metabolism,
  • obesity,
  • accumulation of metabolic products,
  • joint diseases
  • slagging organism
  • oncological diseases,
  • reduced immunity
  • liver and gall diseases,
  • chronic sinusitis,
  • runny nose

The oil is taken internally and is also used as an external agent.

When ingested by adults and children over 9 years old, 20 drops of oil dissolve under the tongue one hour before, or two hours after meals.

Important! When consuming hellebore oil inside, a decrease in appetite can be observed.

Outwardly, the oil is used in the treatment of rhinitis and sinusitis: for example, oil drips into the nose for 4 - 5 drops twice a day, until the symptoms of the disease are eliminated. Children aged 7 years and over need to reduce the dosage by 2 times (the nose is dripped once a day).

In addition, hellebore oil can be used as rubbing with pain in the joints. In such cases, shows a 10-day course of oil treatment, which is rubbed into the problem areas.

Freezer in fiber

Particularly noteworthy biologically active additive, the components of which are the hellebore and fiber. Freezer in fiber helps to maintain the balance of all metabolic processes occurring in the body. The wide range of application of this additive, and its effectiveness, are due to the presence of components that act not on a specific disease, but directly on homeostasis.

The properties of hellebore have been described above, therefore we will dwell in more detail on this component of the additive, such as fiber.

It is the fiber that enters the body with natural plant foods that are dietary fibers, which play an important role in the process of maintaining the normal functioning of the entire digestive tract. The fact is that dietary fibers are not digested, and therefore contribute to maintaining the tone and, consequently, the motility of the digestive tract. In addition, these fibers adsorb toxins, thereby preventing their absorption.

Action supplements:
1. Normalization of metabolism, which leads to loss of excess weight.
2. Normalization of the intestines (above all, it is about eliminating constipation).
3. Obstruction of bile stasis, which, firstly, prevents the formation of stones directly in the gallbladder, and secondly, helps to remove various small stones from both the kidneys and urinary tract.
4. Optimizing the work of the heart by increasing blood flow to the heart muscle.
5. Normalization of the nervous system, which has a positive effect on sleep, performance and psycho-emotional state of a person.
6. Stimulation of the immune system (so, the hellebore in fiber increases nonspecific resistance to various infectious diseases).
7. Removal of harmful substances, including toxins, radionuclides, etc.

Reception scheme:
1. 1 - 10 day - 0.5 tsp.
2. 10 - 20 days - 1 tsp. without top.
3. 20-30 days - 1 tsp. with riding.
4. 30 - 40 days - 1 tsp. with top and another 0.5 tsp
5. 40 - 50 days - 1 tsp. with the top and another 1 tsp without top.
6. 50 - 60 days - 1 tbsp. without top.
7. 60 day - up to 6 months - 1 tbsp. without top.

After six months of taking the hellebore with fiber, you must take a break for one month, after which the regimen is repeated. The general course of treatment is one year.

Application features:

  • The plant is poisonous, so a necessary condition for the use of hellebore in fiber is strict adherence to the dosage and regimen.
  • While taking this dietary supplement it is recommended to include in the diet foods containing a large amount of potassium and calcium.
  • During the course of fiber intake should drink at least 1.5 - 2 liters of fluid per day.

For a one-year course of treatment, 12 cans of hellebore in fiber are required, 300 g each.

Hellebore poisoning

The hellebore is a poisonous plant, overdose of which can lead to poisoning. This poisoning can be triggered by a single dose of a large dose or prolonged use of small doses.

Symptoms of hellebore poisoning:

  • nausea,
  • vomiting
  • abdominal pain,
  • burning mouth
  • excessive drooling,
  • diarrhea,
  • general weakness
  • numbness of tongue and limbs
  • impaired vision and hearing
  • itchy skin
  • tachycardia,
  • insomnia,
  • loss of appetite,
  • respiratory failure,
  • dilated pupils,
  • excited state
  • convulsions
  • loss of consciousness,
  • rave.

The listed signs of hellebore poisoning can be observed both together and separately in various combinations (depending on the characteristics of the organism, the dose taken and the duration of the action of hellebore preparations).

First aid for poisoning drugs hellebore:
1. Call an ambulance.
2. Gastric lavage, for which the victim must drink three glasses of boiled water (a weak solution of potassium permanganate can be used), after which it is necessary to induce vomiting.
3. Intake of 20 tablets of activated carbon, which will help to absorb the hellebore remaining in the gastrointestinal tract.

Compliance with the dosage and rules for taking helleborez drugs will help prevent poisoning!

The hellebore and alcohol

Reception of hellebore does not imply a categorical rejection of the use of alcohol. But it is desirable not to combine the treatment with the use of hellebore and alcohol. The fact is that alcoholic beverages (like cigarettes and coffee) are a burden for the heart, and the glycosides that make up the plant can multiply it.

Finally, remember that a hellebore is an excellent cleanser that removes toxins from the body, and alcohol, as is well known, contains these harmful compounds in excess. Therefore, if the purpose of taking freezer preparations is to cleanse the body, then you should abandon fatty foods, as well as alcohol, smoking and excessive consumption of coffee.

Infusion with otitis

1 tsp The powder of hellebore is poured with a liter of boiled water. Infusion is dripped in each ear for 2 - 3 drops, twice a day. Also, this infusion can be washed purulent and poorly healing wounds, and you can rub it into the scalp to eliminate seborrhea and enhance hair growth.

The tool is also taken orally, 1 tbsp. twice a day, to cleanse the intestines. The course of treatment is at least six months (mostly shows a one-year course of taking helleboreum medications).

Infusion for chronic heart failure

0.5 tsp dry raw materials, pour 250 ml of water, and simmer in a water bath for about 20 minutes (you can brew a hellebore in a thermos). The infusion taken from a water bath is infused for three hours, carefully filtered and drunk a tablespoon six times a day.

If the infusion is taken externally, then filter it is not necessary. It is enough to shake the product so that the dry residue can get on the treated affected surface.
