The product has several names: ferrous sulphate and ferrous sulphate. It is a crystalline hydrate, which is formed by the interaction of sulfuric acid with iron. The chemical formula of the drug is FeSO4 * 7 H2O. The crystals are green-blue in color, unlike copper sulfate, which has a blue color. Technical vitriol is highly soluble in water.
