Small-fruited culture is a variety of varieties that differ in different terms of ripening. Characteristics of fruit cropsRanetki have a special endurance and vitality. The height of adult trees is usually 4.5−5 meters. They are able to easily adapt to weather conditions, they perfectly tolerate harsh winters and are not afraid of the scorching sun, so they can grow well in any climatic zone, except the Far North.
Flowering apple begins in May and lasts 15−20 days. During this period, it is covered with beautiful white or light pink buds that exude a sweet fragrance. Fruits ripen by the end of summer or early fall. Ranetki are famous for their high yield - from 70 to 100 kg of apples can be harvested from one adult tree.
Fruits are small in size and resemble large berries with a diameter of about 5–6 cm and weighing 16–18 grams. Depending on the variety, they can be bright red, burgundy, green or yellow. The flesh of the fruit has a light color, dense structure and has a sweet-sour taste with a pronounced aroma of ripe apples.
Harvest can be stored for a long time, remaining juicy and fresh for 2 months. Ranetki can be consumed fresh, but most often they are used for making juices, baby food, jam, alcoholic beverages. As well as delicious apples are great as a filling for confectionery.
