Fruit trees, on which flawless apples flaunt, are bred by crossing Siberian apple berries with European large-fruited species. The obtained specimens are quite cold-resistant, have high yields and productivity. Bright fruits have a miniature size and are distinguished by a tart taste with light sourness. They are a valuable source of vitamins, and due to their medicinal properties they are often used in official medicine for the manufacture of medicines.

Description of markets and their varieties

Small-fruited culture is a variety of varieties that differ in different terms of ripening. Apple trees are widely distributed in the Far East, Altai, the Urals, as well as in Central Europe and North America. Thanks to the efforts of breeders today, trees with different heights and crown shapes can be found, therefore they are widely used in landscape design in European countries.

Characteristics of fruit crops

Ranetki have a special endurance and vitality. The height of adult trees is usually 4.5−5 meters. They are able to easily adapt to weather conditions, they perfectly tolerate harsh winters and are not afraid of the scorching sun, so they can grow well in any climatic zone, except the Far North.

Flowering apple begins in May and lasts 15−20 days. During this period, it is covered with beautiful white or light pink buds that exude a sweet fragrance. Fruits ripen by the end of summer or early fall. Ranetki are famous for their high yield - from 70 to 100 kg of apples can be harvested from one adult tree.

Fruits are small in size and resemble large berries with a diameter of about 5–6 cm and weighing 16–18 grams. Depending on the variety, they can be bright red, burgundy, green or yellow. The flesh of the fruit has a light color, dense structure and has a sweet-sour taste with a pronounced aroma of ripe apples.

Harvest can be stored for a long time, remaining juicy and fresh for 2 months. Ranetki can be consumed fresh, but most often they are used for making juices, baby food, jam, alcoholic beverages. As well as delicious apples are great as a filling for confectionery.
