Hybrid corn. The ripening time is average, the cobs can be removed from the bushes after 80 - 85 days after seed germination. Corn of this variety is used in the home kitchen for cooking, ordinary cooking or for canning. The taste and presentation of the product is excellent.
It is resistant to many diseases characteristic of this culture. The bush is tall, the stem is a bit like a cone, it is designed for open ground, it needs additional watering and additional feeding. The cobs are long (18–20 cm), are also similar in shape to a cone, weigh about 210–250 g, are 4.3–4.6 cm in diameter. The grains are bright yellow. From 1 hectare can be collected 20-22 tons of such corn.
Famous variety with a crop of excellent quality and taste. The product is used both for the preparation of ordinary dishes and for processing for later use. Not a single disease from the list of major ones will damage the bushes of this variety of corn. There is also resistance to lodging.
"Mermaid" is a medium early variety, since the growing season takes 80 - 90 days without taking into account the time until germination of the planting material. The bush itself is quite high, 1.8 - 2 m in height, it needs fertile soil, plenty of heat, regular watering and timely feeding. The cobs grow to 18 - 20 cm, weigh from 250 to 315 g. The corn kernels of the Mermaid variety are lemon-colored, very sweet, tender, form 14 to 18 rows. The yield is 6.5 - 7.5 tons per 1 ha.
Variety "Golden Fleece"
Early hybrid bred by Ukrainian breeders. Fruits can be harvested 72-75 days after germination of the planting material. The taste of the grains is excellent, and the cobs look great on the counter.
The hybrid is resistant to major diseases, as well as lodging. Plants high, up to 1.8 - 2 m, do not tolerate temperature changes, require additional moisture and fertilizer. Cobs grow up to 20 cm, weighing up to 260 g, with a diameter of 4.8 - 5 cm. The kernels are light yellow, with a lot of sugars and starch. The yield is high - 10-12.5 t / ha.
